Product Features
◇ The carefully designed coil structure and vacuum impregnation process result in low partial discharge for the SG(B)10 transformer, with no cracking or insulation degradation throughout its service life.
◇ The high-voltage side adopts a continuous winding, and the low-voltage side uses foil winding. The whole unit undergoes vacuum impregnation and curing, supported by high-strength ceramic insulators, providing excellent resistance to sudden short-circuit currents.
◇ Flame-retardant, self-extinguishing, non-toxic, and fireproof.
◇ Almost no smoke is generated when the SG(B)10 transformer is burned under high-temperature open flame.
◇ The transformer uses Class H (180°C) insulation, with DuPont NOMEX® paper (Class C) as the main insulation material.
◇ The insulation layer is extremely thin and uniform, enabling strong short-time overload capacity. It can operate at 120% load continuously and 140% load for 3 hours without forced cooling. Thanks to the non-aging and elastic properties of the insulation material, it can immediately carry full load at -50°C.
