HR3 Fuse Type Knife Switch for Motor Protection

The HR3 Fuse Type Knife Switch combines robust circuit isolation with fused protection, supporting 100-1000A loads at AC400V with 500V insulation. This fuse-type knife switch integrates RT0 series fuse bases for 50kA short-circuit protection, ensuring reliable fault interruption in industrial power systems. Designed for harsh environments, it operates at altitudes up to 5000m and temperatures from -35°C to +40°C, with Pollution Degree 3 compliance. The HR3 switch features corrosion-resistant construction and handles 90% humidity (at 20°C), making it ideal for distribution panels requiring manual control and safety in demanding conditions.

    Normal Operating Conditions

    1. The ambient air temperature shall not be higher than +40℃ and not lower than -35℃.
    2. The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 5000m.
    3.Humidity: When the maximum temperature is +40℃,the relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 50%. At lower temperatures, a higher relative humidity is allowed, such as 90% at 20℃. However ,appropriate measures shall be taken due to the influence of temperature changes.
    4. The pollution level of the ambient environment is Grade 3.
    5. The switch shall be installed in a place without severe vibration, and without corrosive gases. Meanwhile, the installation site shall be free of explosive media, and the air in the medium shall be free of gases and dust that can corrode metals and damage insulation.
