Frequently Asked Questions
Q
What is the HR3 fuse-disconnector used for?
The HR3 fuse-disconnector is designed for use in AC 400V power distribution systems. It provides both circuit isolation and overcurrent protection by integrating a fuse base, making it suitable for industrial power distribution panels and switchgear cabinets.
Q
What current ratings are available for the HR3 series?
The HR3 series is available in five rated heating current and rated operating current levels: 100A, 200A, 400A, 600A, and 1000A, covering a wide range of industrial load requirements.
Q
What are the different operation types for the HR3 switch?
The HR3 series offers four operation methods: front side lever transmission mechanism (type 1, front maintenance), front central lever transmission mechanism (type 2, rear maintenance), side operating handle (type 3, front maintenance), and front side lever mechanism without panel (type 4, front maintenance). Additionally, a rotary operation type (BX) is available for front central models.
Q
What are the installation environment requirements for the HR3 switch?
The HR3 switch should be installed in environments where the ambient temperature is between -35℃ and +40℃, altitude does not exceed 5000m, relative humidity is no more than 50% at 40℃, and the pollution level is Grade 3. The installation site must be free from severe vibration, corrosive gases, explosive media, and dust that could damage insulation or corrode metal parts.
Q
What is the rated limiting short-circuit current of the HR3 series?
All models in the HR3 series (HR3-100, HR3-200, HR3-400, HR3-600, and HR3-1000) have a rated limiting short-circuit current of 50kA at AC 400V, providing reliable protection against high fault currents in industrial applications.
Q
How do I select the correct HR3 model for my application?
To select the correct HR3 model, consider the required rated operating current (100A–1000A), the preferred operation and maintenance method (types 1–4), and whether rotary (BX) or lever operation is needed. Refer to the model designation table: for example, HR3-400/33 indicates a 400A rated current with side operating handle type and front maintenance configuration.
