A9~300 Series AC Contactors 50/60Hz 380V
Type & Meaning

| 1 | AC contact |
| 2 | Design code |
| 3 | The basic specification code corresponds to the rated working voltage under AC-3 utilization category; and is expressed by the numerical value of the rated operating current at 380V under AC-3 application category. |
| 4 | The main contact pairs are indicated with two figures; the ones place represents NC (normally closed) contact pairs; The tens digit represents NO (normally open) contact pairs; |
| 5 | The auxiliary contact pairs are indicated with two figures; the ones place represents NC (normally closed) contact pairs; For contact pairs, the tens digit represents NO (normally open) contact pairs; |
Main Structure and Working Principle
1. The contactor features a positive-mounted, direct-action double-break contact structure. Its cover and body are made of arc-resistant plastic. Models A9–16 use natural arc extinguishing, while models A9–26 to 110 incorporate U-shaped arc extinguishing plates within the body to form a sealed arc chamber, delivering excellent arc extinguishing performance with zero arc-over distance.
Contacts are made of anti-welding, wear-resistant silver-based alloy, offering good conductivity, long service life, and environmental friendliness. The iron core adopts an E-shaped design for compact size. Two coil wiring options are available: both terminals at one end, or one terminal at each end, ensuring flexible and convenient wiring.
The base is constructed from glass fiber reinforced plastic, providing high strength and good dielectric properties. Installation can be via screws or DIN rail, enabling quick and easy assembly/disassembly. Live conductive parts are fully enclosed, ensuring high safety performance.
2. The working principle of the contactor: When the control power to the contactor’s pull-in coil is applied (or removed), the magnetic system generates (or dissipates) electromagnetic force, driving the moving parts to make (or break) the circuit, thus achieving the control objective.

Technical Parameters
a.The installation site elevation shall not exceed 2000 m;
b.Ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C, nor shall it exceed +35°C within 24 hours. The lower limit of ambient air temperature is -5°C;
c.The relative air humidity at the installation site shall not exceed 50% at a maximum temperature of +40°C. Higher relative humidity is permitted at lower temperatures, e.g., 90% at 20°C. Measures must be taken to prevent dew condensation on the product due to temperature changes;
d.The installation site pollution class is 3;
e. The contactor can be mounted vertically or horizontally. If mounted vertically, the gradient between the mounting surface and the vertical plane shall not exceed ±30°; (See Fig. 1)
